Established in 2017, our New York office supports US law firms, private equity and other clients with their Canadian legal matters. This office practices exclusively Canadian law and connects US clients to Canadian business and Canadian clients to US capital and growth opportunities.

McCarthy Tétrault has worked with US clients for generations and this office builds on the firm’s US market presence to address the needs of the increasing number of US clients looking to do business in Canada – particularly M&A, capital markets and private equity. It also allows our firm to deepen its existing relationships with US law firms to better serve clients on cross-border issues.
