Denise is a generalist corporate and commercial litigator with deep experience across court, mediation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings. Her practice spans complex disputes involving intellectual property, health law, commercial real estate, employment, energy, construction, and banking.
As a registered trademark agent and IP litigator, Denise advises clients on securing, protecting, and enforcing trademarks, patents, copyrights, and on issues in digital media, entertainment, data security, and privacy law across a range of industries. She has particular strength in mixed litigation matters that sit at the intersection of corporate risk and IP law.
Denise regularly appears before arbitration tribunals and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, and has appeared before the Alberta Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Canada. She is valued for her ability to translate complex legal and technical issues into clear, business‑focused strategies that help clients manage risk and resolve disputes efficiently.
