Please join our esteemed panel for an exclusive fireside chat as Brandon Kain is joined by the Honourable Mr. Justice Peter J. Cavanagh, Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) and Christina Porretta, Chief Legal Officer at BDO Canada. The discussion will be moderated by Marina Sampson

In the past decade, the principle of good faith has emerged as a pervasive and critical feature of contracts throughout common law Canada. Brandon Kain, a partner at McCarthy Tétrault and author of the recent text "Good Faith in Canadian Contract Law” (published by LexisNexis Canada), has played a key role in shaping Canadian contract law through his successful advocacy in the landmark Supreme Court of Canada cases on good faith, including Bhasin v. Hrynew and C.M. Callow Inc. v. Zollinger.

Drawing upon their broad experience, Justice Cavanagh and Christina will discuss recent developments in the law of good faith with Brandon. Along the way, they will offer practical tips for how to navigate this rapidly developing and increasingly important legal area.
