Travel Counsellors acquisition of The Travel Agent Next Door

On January 1, 2026, Travel Counsellors, a portfolio company of UK-based private equity firm Vitruvian Partners Ltd., completed its acquisition of The Travel Agent Next Door Inc., a leading Canadian operator of retail travel agents, providing comprehensive marketing and administrative support for travel services sold by its independent agents to the public. The acquisition will enable both businesses to benefit from: superior scale with over 3,900 professional travel business owners in the enlarged Group; a more diversified international footprint across the UK and Canada, and the opportunity for deeper knowledge sharing cross-company.
