Toronto Metropolitan University finalizes partnership with Cedar Podium to develop a new 21-storey student residence

On November 28, 2025, Toronto Metropolitan University (“TMU”) announced the closing of its partnership with Cedar Podium (“CP”) to develop a new 21-storey student residence on Bond Street and Dundas Street East, which is targeted to be completed for 2030. This project will add over 1,370 beds and include academic space containing two large classrooms on the lower level. This project will increase on-campus housing availability at the TMU campus and will promote a thriving student community for current and prospective students.
