Société de Crédit Commercial Autochtone makes investment in IPNQ II

Société de Crédit Commercial Autochtone (“SOCCA”) announced an investment as a limited partner in Investissement Premières Nations du Québec II, S.E.C. (IPNQ II), a C$45 million private investment fund that aims to invest in existing and start-up Indigenous businesses through equity and unsecured debt investments.
SOCCA is an Indigenous financial institution whose mandate is to offer financing products and services in the form of loans, a non-repayable contributions and support for Indigenous businesses.
McCarthy Tétrault advised SOCCA with a team led by Louis-Philippe Samson that included Alexandre Saulnier-Marceau and Yassine Khadir.
