HPS Investment Partners and Apollo Global Management acquire Great Canadian Gaming Corporation for C$3.3B

On September 22, 2021, an affiliate of certain funds managed by Apollo Global Management, Inc. and HPS Investment Partners, LLC completed its acquisition of Great Canadian Gaming Corporation for approximately C$3.3 billion in cash. The transaction was completed by a court-approved plan of arrangement.
Founded in 1982, Great Canadian operates 26 gaming, entertainment and hospitality facilities in Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Apollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager that had approximately US$472 billion of assets under management as of June 30, 2021.
