CMOC acquires Brazil gold mines for US$1.015B

On January 23, 2026 CMOC Limited ("CMOC") acquired 100% of the interest in the Aurizona Mine, RDM Mine and Bahia Complex located in Brazil from Equinox Gold Corp. for total consideration of US$1.015 billion, including a US$900 million upfront payment and a contingent payment of up to US$115 million based on sales volume during the first year following closing.
