Altius acquires Lithium Royalty Corp. for total consideration of approximately C$520M

On March 6, 2026, Altius Minerals Corp. ("Altius") completed its definitive agreement to acquire all issued and convertible common shares of Lithium Royalty Corp. ("LRC") by way of a plan of arrangement for approximately C$520 million (C$9.50 per LRC share), payable in approximately C$173 million cash and C$347 million in Altius shares. Altius already holds an effective 8% interest in LRC. The common shares of LRC will be de-listed from the Toronto Stock Exchange and LRC will apply to cease to be a reporting issuer in Canada.
Altius, headquartered in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, is a mineral royalty company that acquires and manages royalties on mining and renewable energy projects, including copper, potash, battery metals, iron ore, and sustainability-focused assets in Canada and select international markets.
LRC is a lithium-focused royalty company organized in Canada, that specializes in lithium and critical minerals.
